Embroidery: Turning Your Logo into Stitches
Posted by Ole Star Graphix on Oct 3rd 2026
Embroidery creates a design with thread stitched into a suitable item. It is a familiar choice for workwear, caps, polos and other branded pieces because the stitched texture gives a logo a different look from a printed graphic.
A logo needs a stitch plan
Artwork is prepared for embroidery through digitizing: the design is translated into instructions for stitches, their direction and their sequence. It is not simply a matter of sending an ordinary image file to an embroidery machine.
Simple details can work better
Tiny lettering, very fine lines and gradients may need to be simplified to read clearly in thread. Placement and size matter too. A design that looks good on a large jacket area may need changes to work on the front of a cap.
Start with the item and the purpose
Tell us what you want decorated, where the design should go, how many pieces you need and your preferred colors. Share a clear logo file if you have one. The fabric and construction of the item help determine what is suitable, so confirm the details before ordering.
